Azeem Ahmed Alvi plays Sitar, Sabir Khan plays Sarangi and Hafeez Ahmed Alvi plays Tabla at a musical evening organise by Tabla Academy of Ajrara Gharana in Delhi.

Azeem Ahmed Alvi belongs to the famous Delhi Gharana. He is the son of Ustad Sayed Ahmed Alvi, who is an “A” grade artist of All India Radio and a Sitar player. At first, Azeem took his training from his father and later from Mohsin Ali Khan and yet he is the disciple of the famous Sitar maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan.

Sabir Khan is an Indian sarangi player who belongs to the Sikar gharana (school) of music. Several This gharana has who have given several stalwarts to Indian classical music has trained under his father Ustad Sultan Khan and uncle Ustad Azim Khan and is the ninth generation to take up sarangi. He has also played with artists like gazal maestro Ustad Gulam Ali, Talat Aziz, Asha bhosle and The Hazards.

Hafeez Ahmed Alvi was born into the great musician family of the Delhi Gharana. He is the son of Ustad Sayyed Hafeez Ahmed Alvi, an A-grade artist of All India radio and a well-known sitar player. Hafeez has decveloped his style under the tutelage of ustad Akram Khan of Ajrara gharana, which employs complex patterns of the index and middle fingers which create great clarity of sound. The recipient of multiple awards in renowned competitions including All-India Radio and Haribalabh Sangeet Sammelan Music , Hafeez has performed at many venues in India and abroad.
