this time I checked the electric BYD Sealion 7 AWD 82.5 kWh with Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app

CarScanner still works in Sealion 7 with old vehicle software (multimedia system version 51.1.4.2408150.1) but does NOT work in Sealion 7 with newer vehicle software (multimedia system version 51.1.4.2410210.1 or later). BYD Sealion 7 with new software in Norway and Thailand (Bjorn Nyland and CG GO):

In video Car Scanner displayed 151 Ah factory and 151 Ah actual capacity = 100% SOH.
This new Sealion 7 has slightly higher battery capacity (151 Ah) than advertised 150Ah.
Official rated capacity is 170Ah (93 kWh battery) or 150 Ah (82.5 kWh battery)

Car Scanner now shows BASU battery module 11-13 (only in All Sensors, 12 modules in 82.5 kWh battery), several very interesting PDC sensors, main and secondary motor parameters (in AWD cars) - but only in All Sensors (not on the Dashboard, you can add them manually, or use my custom Dashboard: https://www.udrop.com/N75t/dashboard_...)

Identical parameters are displayed in BYD Seal (in all vehicle software versions) with Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (see my other videos).

KGM Torres EVX shows more sensors related to BYD blade battery thermal management:

BYD Sealion 7 has very small auxiliary battery: 14Ah (60A) 12V, allegedly Li-ion battery (source - CG GO video:    • BYD SEALION 7 AWD Performance กรุงเทพฯ - น...  ) No wonder BYD enters into "Deep sleep" so often - press the button on the door handle for over 5 seconds to wake up the car again. OBD2 voltage in video was 13.6V.

upon app installation you should select correct Connection profile for your car. If you already used the app with different connection profile, after changing Connection profile the pre-loaded Dashboard pages will not follow automatically. How to get pre-loaded Dashboard: Settings / Dashboard / Reset Dashboard to default. Or use menu → My Cars + add new car

Settings / Dashboard - Choose background image (but say NO when asked to turn all fields to transparent, do it manually on some fields: double tap on sensor box: Background and border: select Solid, Background color → mesh grid = transparent)
