ORTC Episode 286 Pie Town and the VLA

In this episode we Visit the Very Large Array in theNew Mexico (Very) High desert. This Radio telescope was made famous by the movie Contact and was inspired by Carl Sagen… you know … the Billions and Billions of stars guy! I loved the Cosmos Series as well as a big fan of Contact so this stop was a must. I found a campground in the nearby town of Pie Town… it was practically filled up! All 5 of the camp sites. TheArray didn't disappoint and neither did the Pie. I’m just sayin’ if you come all the way out here and don’t have a pie, you’re really missing out. Anyway here is the ling to the VLA
