The original moon video was captured on - Dec 03 2025 with the Seestar S50. The observing session was for 1 hour and 47 mins but this mineral moon video was condensed into a 10 min speedup video. After watching several YouTube creators make a mineral moon, I decided to try and convert the video using Kdenlive. I hope you enjoy the final result. Because this is a video and not a stacked image, the colors of the moon change between a brown and blue shade over the course of the night. The passing clouds and atmosphere impact the fluctuating colors.
