Most Farmers Don’t Do This — But I’m Taking the Risk

As a beginning farmer, I’m always looking for ways to improve yields and make smarter decisions, which is why I’m planting a soybean test plot this year with several new seed varieties. Most farmers stick to what they know, but I’m taking the risk to find out what really performs on my ground. In this video, I’ll show you the varieties I’m trying, how I set up the plot using my tractor and precision planting tools, and why this kind of experimentation matters.
