Places I ate in singapore:
➯Flourish Cafe: a cute little spot on campus! please whatever you do do not get the banana bread. The big chocolate chip cookie is a winner though!!)

➯Ah Tai Chicken Rice
(the rice is so perfect and fragrant and addicting. My fav chicken rice stall in Singapore. the sweet black sauce = elite)

Ghim Moh Road Market & Food Centre: came here to try Chuan Kee Boneless Braised Duck 全记 who has a Michelin Bib Gourmand- sweet & savoury & perfect

➯ Creamier Handcrafted: i’ve been here twice and i really like their gelato. I got gula melaka this time and it was a tad too sweet.

➯ Kafe Utu: first time eating at an African restaurant and it was super yummy, the price is definitely not low but food was so flavourful but they did charge us like $5 for TAP water EACH and DID NOT tell us which is my biggest pet peeve ever 🥴

➯ Dopa Dopa: just stunning gelato. Stunning. One of my fav pistachio gelatos on the island. (and i’ve tried every pistachio gelato on the island HAHA)

➯ Merci Marcel: lots of locations across singapore, fancy shmancy overpriced brunch food, nothing super special though

➯ Acoustics Coffee Bar Neil: one of my go-to cafes to get some work done. I love their playlist so much i found it on spotify and play it at home

➯Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle: it’s apparently the first street food vendor in the world to get a Michelin star. For me it was definitely delicious but personally I don’t love the sourness of the sauce. But I'm glad I tried it!!

➯ Shenyang Feng Wei: omg. Freshly made scallion pancakes. These were thicker and doughier on the inside with a crisp, fried crust - literally heaven in my mouth. Unreal. So fresh. So yum.

➯ Miss Gelato: decent but not particularly memorable. Cute decorations but seats are VERY low haha

places I ate in Ubud:
➯ Warung Biah Biah (recommended by another restaurant’s employee) - and it was the best meal I had on my trip! The noodles guys. The noodles.)
➯Seniman Coffee: yummy coffee, cool vibes, spectacular almond croissant
➯In Da Compound Warung: the chicken skewers and peanut sauce both 10/10. The corn fritters were phenomenal too.
➯Suka Espresso: VERY yummy acai bowl. Refreshing and tasty! The banana bread was wonderfully moist
➯Potato Head Beach Club (Seminyak): overhyped and overpriced but we still had a fun time!! Definitely better beach clubs than this so i would pass on this one
➯ Made’s Warung: honestly, very basic and nothing too special. Still yummy but not as good as the other meals we had. There were also an army of mosquitos attacking us
➯ Gusto Gelato & Caffé: i understand what they have 20,000 google reviews. So many unique flavours. I sampled over 10 HAHA. one of the best gelatos I have ever had in my existence. The snickers gelato changed my life. I love RICH and THICK and CHONKY desserts.
➯ Anomali Coffee Ubud: almond croissant was definitely not crispy but it was still quite yummy and it was a nice place to sit down to do some work! Lots of digital nomads!
