San Diego Officers Pursuit "Quiet" Camaro

February 2nd 2025. National City Police Department was pursuing a Black Chevy Camaro for unknown reason. The Camaro was able to reach high speeds in excess of 100M.P.H. and officers lost sight of the Camaro.
Several minutes after fleeing from National City Police, the Camaro was spotted by a San Diego Police Officer. The vehicle was heading on the 5 North. SDPD followed the vehicle until it was intercepted by the California Highway Patrol. The pursuit continued through the Mission Valley area on side streets. The Camaro evaded police all through the streets and returned to the freeway. The chase continued for miles down the interstate 8 east, then down south, and back up the 5 North. The vehicle then arrived back in the Mission Valley area, seen pulling in front of The Metro Apartment Complex where the driver fled into the parking structure. With the assistance of the San Diego Police Helicopter ABLE, officers set a perimeter and contained the building. Officers began to clear several parking garage structures and question residents. Some residents approached officers to disclose that they believed it may have been one of their relatives. Officers were given permission to check an apartment for a possible suspect. No one was in the apartment and the relative they believe to be involved was nowhere to be found. No arrests were made. SDPD has impounded the vehicle and will continue to investigate.
