7. SOUNDBITE (English) Austin Butler, actor: "I have been looking for something that was very different from anything that I've done. I've been looking for a way to challenge myself in some way. And, and this, this character, you know, I was it was about as different as I could find from anything that I've been doing. So, it was a blast to to enter into that. And with with such an amazing cast and with Denis as our director. I mean, it was a dream come true."
Reporter: "Any new skills. Because that fight scene is absolutely epic."
Butler: "New skills? I mean, yeah, we did a lot of fight training, so I did
a lot of fight training."

Reporter: "Did you ever wonder what you would look like without hair?"
Butler: "Do I ever wonder?"
Reporter: "Yeah, yeah. Did you ever wonder before you had the headpiece on?"
Butler: "I don't suppose I thought I ever did mention my mind, but now I
know."
Reporter: "What was the hair and makeup process for this character?"
Butler: " It was it was three hours a day, but they were the most amazing hair and makeup team. I got to spend a lot of time
with them, and it was it was a great process."
Reporter: "And also Stellan had eight hours, so."
Butler: "Yeah, I can't complain."

Villeneuve: "It's a much more muscular movie, because of the story that has been told. The the first movie was about the boy, discovering a new planet we were -- and about, being a victim of all the events, having no control over his life, trying to find his identity. That has been done. Now we are with someone, a boy that becomes a man that takes action, that becomes a fighter that wants to avenge his father. So it's much more muscular than of - an action movie."

Reporter: "He really is hanging. I mean,

Ferguson: "I think it was one of my happiest moments because there is no one I
like working with as much as Denis. And I'm here with him. So it's like a safe place."
