In September 2022, SIG SAUER was awarded the USSOCOM contract for the RSAR (Reduced Signature Assault Rifle) a compact, mission-ready platform built to meet the elite demands of Special Operations Forces.
After a multi-year evaluation beginning in 2017, the RSAR met SOCOM's call for:
