पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने चंडीगढ़ के पंजाब भवन में किसानों के साथ एक बैठक के दौरान बीच में ही मीटिंग छोड़ दी. ये बैठक संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा (एसकेएम) के नेताओं के साथ थी, जो अपनी विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर 5 मार्च से चंडीगढ़ में धरना देने की तैयारी कर रहे थे. बैठक में किसानों की मांगों पर चर्चा के दौरान तीखी बहस हुई, जिसके बाद भगवंत मान गुस्से में उठकर चले गए. किसान नेताओं के मुताबिक, मान ने कहा, "जाओ करते रहो धरना," और उनकी बात पूरी सुने बिना ही बाहर निकल गए। इस घटना से किसानों में नाराजगी है, और उन्होंने अपना प्रस्तावित आंदोलन जारी रखने का ऐलान किया है. जिसके बाद पंजाब पुलिस ने किसानों के खिलाफ ताबड़तोड़ कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है.

The meeting was with leaders of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), who were preparing to hold a protest in Chandigarh from March 5 over their various demands. A heated argument broke out during discussions on the farmers' demands, after which Bhagwant Mann angrily left the meeting. According to farmer leaders, Mann said, "Go ahead and keep protesting," and exited without fully hearing them out. This incident has sparked anger among the farmers, who have announced they will continue their planned agitation. Following this, Punjab Police launched a swift crackdown against the farmers.
