Nearly 45,000 of you voted for your single favourite driver, and the results reveal just how biased (and ruthless) the F1 fandom can be.

We break down the data from every angle — from which countries produce the most-loved drivers, to how popularity shifts across continents, and whether being in a top team really does guarantee a huge fanbase. Some of the results are predictable, others are genuinely shocking, including one hugely successful driver failing to even crack the top 10.

From Max Verstappen’s dominance at the top, to fan-favourite Ferraris, rookies trying to build a following, and the driver who finished with less than half a percent of the vote, this video goes from the most loved to the most ignored on the grid. We also combine driver fanbases to rank the most popular teams in Formula 1, and yes — the gap between first and last is brutal.
