They’re using things such as credit checks, background checks, application fees, security deposits, and other ways to help ensure that they don’t have to deal with tenants that they don’t want living in their units.
The section 8 program in Los Angeles isn’t working the way it was intended for either tenants or landlords and that is a real problem.
