Who would ever venture into Florida in the sweltering soupy midst of mid summer? Me, obviously. Check out this bit of action from the FEC Railway's mainline between Jacksonville and Miami. We'll visit various "spots" around Bayard, St. Augustine, Pineda, Melbourne, Fort Pierce, White City, Stuart, Hobe Sound, West Palm Beach, Hypoluxo, and Fort Lauderdale. The mission was to go after old power, so you'll enjoy classic EMD variants slugging it out on rock trains, along with Brightline appearances mixed with GEVO-powered road freights.
