Metro Awakening VR - Full Playthrough and Review

This is a blind playthrough of Metro Awakening VR. This video should help you with any part of the main story that you're stuck on or if you just want to relive the experience. It's not intended to be a 100% walkthrough and in particular will not help you to find all the postcards (though I'll include the ones I do find). I've also included ammo and health reloads that I found, but the spawns appear to be randomized so the items you get may differ slightly.

I've edited parts of the footage to exclude repetitive or unhelpful sections like reloading weapons, charging the flashlight, or exploring an area but not finding anything. I've also edited out death scenes to avoid repetitive gameplay of the same area.

Footage was captured from the PSVR2 but the Quest and PCVR versions should be substantively the same in terms of story and gameplay.

Metro Awakening VR is based on the Metro series of novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. There were also previous flatscreen games. I've neither read the books nor played the prior games. The only thing I knew about this game going in is that it was nominated for VR Game of the Year (2024) but lost to Batman: Arkham Shadow, and that it got good reviews from sources that I trust.
