The first backpack camping trip in 2 years! I head up the commissary trail located on Mt. Mitchell in North Carolina. This is an easy trail with a great place to camp at the end. The weather can be unpredictable up on the top. It did get down to 39 degrees in late June. There are a few items of gear that I enjoyed. Check them out:
