Watching Adrien Brody’s Worst Movie to Celebrate His Oscar

Today, we’re looking at inAPPropriate Comedy, starring two time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody alongside all time greats like Rob Schneider, Ari Shaffir, and the guy from the Shamwow Infomercials. While Brody was just honored with an Oscar for his role in The Brutalist, Inappropriate Comedy is nothing like that beyond the fact that it was brutal to get through. It bills itself as edgy, but is really just bigoted, and I couldn’t help but gaze at my television in bewilderment when I realized it starred an actor of Brody’s pedigree. Is there anything useful to be gained from watching and reviewing this? Well, I think ridicule and critique would be a good start to hopefully prevent any future award winners from making the same career mistakes as Adrien Brody.
