My AWD RD1 CRV transmission pooped out so I swapped it with a FWD RD2 CRV transmission to get the RD1 back on the road. Remember that you should use the same year range transmissions to prevent any issues. 96-98 or 99-01.
So 3 things that I found to be different were the rear T bracket, the rear-lower engine to transmission bracket and the shifter cable. I had trouble finding this information on google and in the Facebook RD1 groups.
