When I first started memorizing 9:1, "Now even the first covenant had an earthly place of holiness." I was awestuck for sometime meditating on this. Where God's tangible presence resides. Beautiful, fearsome, terrible, demands reverence, holy. And yet in the new covenant, thorough Jesus Christ, our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. God in us. Just amazing.
Recording the time-lapse was a bit of a gamble, as the camera was left running for over 30 hours and could have easily been snatched by monkeys. I wouldn’t know how it turned out until I got home to process it, but in the end, I found the beauty of God’s creation far more majestic than spending 10 minutes looking at a face (ha ha).
