We shot this entire hike at sunrise, when the geology explodes with color—glowing red sandstone, it feels like it’s on fire! It’s one of the most visually stunning desert experiences we’ve ever filmed!

🔥 ABOUT THIS HIKE

We started before dawn so we could catch the moment that the first light hits the trails. Valley of Fire turns into a glowing canyon system at sunrise—every trail feels like you're walking through a living painting.

The Fire Wave is a must-see for hikers and photographers with its sweeping sandstone stripes in rust red, pink, orange, and white, shaped by thousands of years of erosion. Right after that, we connected to the Seven Wonders Trail, which lives up to its name with arches, hidden passages, wind tunnels, slot canyons and wave-like rock formations that look like art carved by nature. The Pink Canyon or sometimes called the Pastel canyon is the first wonder of this 7 Wonders trail, but sets the tone for the whole exploration, this trail never stops giving!

Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Best Time: Sunrise or early morning (cool temps + glowing colors)

Terrain: Sandstone, short climbs, wave formations, soft sand areas, narrow passages
