How to Use Multiple Point Styles in Legend in Chart JS

In this video we will explore how to use multiple point styles in legend in chart js. By default Chart js does not allow multiple legend point styles. It will apply to all. However, once you understand how to use a feature called generateLabels(). Which is a special option to generate legend labels similar to generateLegend() in Chart js V2.

We can create an unique legend that is different and allow us to use different pointstyles for each item. Ofcourse we do need to create our own click function and the hide and show effect of the chart as well.

Why we created these #chartjs and #javascript video tutorials?

With chart js you can make line chart, bar chart, pie chart, doughnut chart, scatter chart, polar area chart, radar chart, gauge chart and area chart. And with some clever tricks and visual adjustment more can be done.
