Many years ago I began building 1 house every year or so from the Greenleaf Village kit. As time went on, I wanted to see how I could customize each one I built in a unique way. As time went on, I accumulated many and began to build a customized village scene. Incorporating a Polar Express O Gauge train set last year as well. This increased the setup difficulty and time as it went from simple, to complicated and time consuming beginning last year. Custom building the entire project using styrofoam, and also building a train tunnel from scratch, which also had a fibre optic waterfall flowing over it, just to name one of many items that made it more difficult, but I must say, it's worth it, and a joy to watch each night during the holiday season. This year, I had the time and materials to include the Christmas tree in the setup. (last year I did not) Enjoy!
