In February 2020 the Strasburg Model Railroad Club displayed at the Spring Thaw Train meet in Allentown PA. Along with the hourly and half-hourly passenger trains. We also ran Freight operations. Since freight has become a key part of the Strasburg Railroad.
In this video Strasburg #8618 is seen taking a string of cars from East Strasburg, to Leaman Place to interchange with Norfolk Southern. On the return trip 8618 brings a new string of cars from the interchange back to East Strasburg.
