A Beautiful Tribute: Walking Through the Veterans & First Responders Memorial

Today, I’m taking you on a peaceful walk through a truly special place — the brand-new Veterans & First Responders Memorial here in Cumberland County, Tennessee. I’ve been following the construction of this memorial with my drone over on my Tennessee Drone Channel, and today I’m honored to capture the dedication ceremony and the first raising of the flags.

In this video, I’ll show you the memorial grounds, the brick tributes, the flag circles, and the beautiful setting along Lake Catherine. All of the photographs you’ll see were taken with my Nikon Z6II and the 50mm f/1.8 S — one of my favorite lightweight lenses for days like this.

I was invited to document the event with drone footage, and I wanted to share this experience with all of you. For many of us, places like this are personal. We’ve had family members, friends, and neighbors who served, and this memorial is a touching reminder of the sacrifices made by both veterans and first responders.
