Don't try customizing sneakers

Here is a realistic look at the reality behind customizing sneakers, or any customization business for that matter. It's not always as glamorous as it looks on social media. So if you aren't willing to go through the dark times, the frustrations, the mistakes and the growing pains, I'd say even don't try customizing sneakers - because you may just get defeated.

In this video, I talk through how customizing as an art form has shaped who I am as a person, despite the numerous hurdles and obstacles that always seem to pop up at the most inconvenient times. Right from teaching myself how to customize surfboards, starting a customizing business, transitioning into customizing sneakers, making instructional videos on the topic, and things still going wrong! The resilience required is both a burden and a blessing, that makes this simultaneously a stressful and excellent job at the same time.

The best part? The more experience you get at navigating these difficulties, the less they happen. PLUS! If you look at them with a positive attitude, you may just learn from them.
