The Tigers of Cocoa High School hosted the Tigers of Orlando Jones on Friday, March 1, 2024. The Cocoa Tigers posted a 14-1, 5 inning victory, their second over Jones this season. More importantly, the game was in honor of Mr. Larry Makela who passed last year. His wife Laura threw out the first pitch to their son, Thomas, who was the starting pitcher and notched the win. Larry was a coach at CHS, a volunteer in the community and a MCOA official as well. Great victory and event, for the Tigers!
