As we finalize the prep work on our T-18 four speed manual transmission and our Dana 20 transfer case, I thought I'd take a minute to do some explaining. While I've got things opened up, I'll walk through the basics of how a transfer case works, how it transfers power to the front and rear differentials either together or separately and how a twin stick shifter can open up the options when four wheeling.
