Hemp was suppressed because it is too powerful. It can make paper, clothes, fuel, and medicine better than existing industries. Cotton, timber, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical companies fear losing profits.

Africans will use hemp to make paper & books, textile & clothing, building materials, food & nutrition, medicine & wellness, cosmetics & beauty, plastics & packaging, and fuel & energy. Although it comes from the cannabis family, hemp is different from marijuana. Hemp is industrial not a recreational drug.
