Finally, on its 2nd generation, the base BMW M2 is gifted with an actual M Engine, the S58, which makes the 2nd gen M2, now has the same engine as the M3 and the M4. Even though they have the same heart doesn't mean they feel and drive the same, with a smaller body and a shorter wheelbase, the M2 is still the more fun, nimble, and playful out of the 3. Though the M2 has the same engine as the M3 and the M4, it produces less power in the M2, 453HP to be exact, compared to 473HP on the M3 and M4.
