Hello friends! I’m so happy to be back to share with you the beginning of my journey building a house truck for my husband and I to live in full time. This has been a dream of ours for so long, and we are finally starting the DIY journey of making this wandering cottage a reality! We both love to travel, want to explore our country, and would love to stop paying insane amounts of rent. Since buying a house is not financially possible for us, we’ve decided to hand-craft our own tiny house, or house truck, to live in! (that we can afford to build without debt!) While we explored van conversions, skoolie conversions, and tiny houses, we ultimately decided a box truck conversion was what would fit our needs the best. And being the creative, lover of architecture that I am, I had to make some major design changes to the box to make it uniquely our own 😉 I hope you enjoy this introduction to our house truck journey and follow along to see us make this dream a reality!
