06' Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC Thermostat Housing w/ Unexpected Fan Clutch Delete, Part 1

My thermostat housing has been leaking again!! The 4.0 SOHC has a really bad place for the housing to be bolted down to. It gets really hot and eventually, the plastic will melt or crack in different areas. I found out that Dorman makes a full aluminum/metal housing designed to eliminate all of the issues with the plastic housing and the cheap aluminum housing from eBay. But there is a problem that I will encounter with this part that I bought, it's for the Mustang V6, not for the Explorer V6, even though they use the same engine, the parts are different.

34:30 Loosen off the two hoses left attached to the housing
35:37 Remove the wire connector for the temperature sensor
36:08 Remove the three long bolts from the housing
37:08 Remove the two hoses left and remove the old housing.
41:16 Examine the old housing
43:43 Examine the mounting surface
44:43 Compare the two housings
48:35 Begin installing the new housing
50:46 Noticed a big difference on the new housing
