I have my garage full of tools and stuff, so I needed a carport. This simple carport build project took a weekend from start to finish, including painting and cost around $500 all in. It's about 19 feet long and 12 feet wide. If you're planning one yourself, make sure you consider building codes if any, water flow and snow loads for your area. This is large enough for a single car to park, and is made from standard items found at most big box retail stores.
