The Fire Programs of Oklahoma State University.
Oklahoma State University has a rich history in fire. Dating back to the 1930’s, OSU now has grown to have the oldest ABET accredited Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology program in the country. This past year OSU added a unique Master’s degree in Fire Safety and Explosion Protection. In addition to the two technical degrees, OSU also has Master’s and PhD degrees in the Fire and Emergency Management Program. Together these three programs bring together the technical and social aspects vital in the loss control industry.
