Kazakh (қазақ тілі, qazaq tili) is a Turkic language spoken primarily in Kazakhstan, where it is the official state language, as well as in parts of China (Xinjiang), Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan, and among Kazakh diaspora communities worldwide. It belongs to the Kipchak branch of the Turkic language family, closely related to Kyrgyz and Nogai. Kazakh is an agglutinative language characterized by vowel harmony and the extensive use of suffixes to express grammatical relationships. It is currently written in the Cyrillic script in Kazakhstan, with an ongoing transition to a Latin-based script, while Arabic script is used among Kazakh communities in China and the Middle East. Influenced by Russian due to historical ties during the Soviet era, Kazakh remains a key symbol of national identity and cultural heritage, spoken by approximately 13–15 million people.

Uyghur (ئۇيغۇرچە‎, Uyghurche) is a Turkic language spoken primarily by the Uyghur people in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, with smaller communities in Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. It belongs to the Karluk branch of the Turkic language family and has around 10-12 million speakers. Uyghur is an agglutinative language characterized by vowel harmony and suffixation to express grammatical relationships. It is written in a modified Arabic script, though Latin and Cyrillic scripts have also been used historically. Uyghur has been influenced by Persian, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese due to historical trade routes like the Silk Road and political shifts in the region. Despite facing cultural and political challenges, Uyghur remains a vital part of the identity, literature, and oral traditions of the Uyghur people.
