The documentary is about a village girl from Thilanoor in Kannur district. Her name is Reeshma who has been an outstanding sports woman. She played in Kerala women's football team for 14 years. She has had a very humble background with her parents being casual labourers. In spite of this, Reeshma's hard work and will power made her achieve what many would not even dream of. Due to the poor family condition Reeshma managed to play at the state level and also completed her basic education with the support of her parents and her own efforts by doing casual labour.
Although with no support from the sports council/Kerala government, today she stands as a pillar of strength for herself and her family. Today she is the owner of a women's gym in SN park Kannur, which she managed to open after taking financial helps and assistance from family friends and bank. With her hard earned money from the gymnasium she was able to support her father for more than two years in the treatment of cancer. Today Reeshma stands rock solid facing all odds in living up to her family and her all expectations, dreams and desire for the future.
