Clearing snow off the car at 4:00 am I wondered if an old guy was getting past this sort of adventuring. My mind was soon put to rest once I got set up on the wonderful Hackley Beach (we'll not mention the one hour hike carrying all the gear).
The target today, which it has been for the last few of these beach adventures, was a good sized Turbot. The fish today were larger than previous sessions which encourages me to continue the quest for the monster with my name on it.
I was accompanied by my good friend Gordon. Together we make a great team and really enjoy our fishing adventures. I think we have fished most weeks this winter, not bad for a couple of older lads 😉
PS. Apologies for the rain and smudge on the lens. Something else to remember whilst filming the action.
