Audi A3 Sportback 40 TFSI e PHEV Review and Road Test

This is the new A3 Sportback PHEV from Audi

Powered by a 4 cylinder, 1.4 TFSI engine with an 80 kw electric motor, coupled to a 6 speed S Tronic dual clutch gearbox

A full charge from empty will take a little over 4 hours using a Type 2 charger

There are three trims in the range, the S, the S Line and the S Line Competition – and it’s built on the VW Golf chassis

We have the S Line in Tango Red, it is fitted with 18 inch alloy wheels

There is a choice of wheels to choose from, and whilst the 18 inch wheels add to the style, the 17 inch wheels add to the pure electric range
As this can affect the Benefit in Kind (BiK) for use as a company car, Audi will fit 17 inch wheels for free if you request it

Highlights fitted on the S Line include:
LED rear lights and dynamic rear indicators
Privacy glass in the rear
