The Stand Up India programme is designed to help SC/ST or female entrepreneurs launch their businesses. The government established the program as an enterprise by at least one SC/ST or female entrepreneur per branch. The company could be in manufacturing, trading, or services. However, there is a requirement that the SC/ST or female applicants hold a 51 per cent stake in that business. Therefore, SC/ST or female business owners can borrow up to 1,00,00,000 using this programme.

To qualify, the candidate must be an SC/ST or woman entrepreneur who is at least 18 years old. In comparison to other loan formats, the interest rate must be reasonable. The full moratorium day is 18 days, and the candidate can repay the loan in 7 years.
