The Air Force Big Band, ‘The Swing Commanders’, have recorded and filmed a diverse selection of jazz tunes, for your listening pleasure! This ambitious project shines a spotlight on original compositions and arrangements by local Australian artists, including current and former members of Air Force Band.
'The Quintessential Count' is a tribute to one of the giants of Big Band jazz music, William James 'Count' Basie, and was composed by LAC Niels Rosendahl.
