For our first journey together, we’re visiting the stunning Gower Coast in South Wales — one of the most scenic and celebrated coastal regions in the UK.

The Gower Peninsula, the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is world-famous for its dramatic cliffs, sweeping bays, and unspoilt beaches. Visitors from around the globe come here to walk the Gower Coast Path, immerse themselves in nature, and enjoy some of the most spectacular coastal views Britain has to offer.

We arrive on the Gower to celebrate the New Year, and during this trip we explore three of the most iconic beaches in Britain —
Rhossili Bay, Oxwich Bay, and Three Cliffs Bay — each offering its own unique beauty, atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery.

As this is the very first video on the Scenic Britain channel, we couldn’t think of a better place to begin our journey together. The Gower Coast perfectly captures what this channel is all about: natural beauty, peaceful walking, dramatic landscapes, and timeless British scenery.
