LIFE in the Ravines: Restoring the Peak District's Special Woodlands | 20-Min Documentary

Precious ravine woodlands across the Peak District are being brought back to life through the largest restoration project of its kind. This 20-minute documentary showcases the groundbreaking LIFE in the Ravines project, where thousands of native trees are being planted to replace those lost to devastating ash dieback disease.

The five-year initiative, using EU LIFE Programme funding, is restoring up to 25% of the region's most severely damaged woodlands within the Peak District Dales Special Area of Conservation (SAC), creating resilient habitats that will protect this rare ecosystem for future generations.
