B. Romberg Cello Sonata in G Major Op 38 No 2 Mov.1 Allegro

This is a video of the first movement, Allegro, of Bernhard Romberg’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in G Major, Op. 38 No. 2. Written in 1826 by one of the cello’s earliest virtuosos, this sonata bridges Classical clarity and burgeoning Romantic warmth.
