Why Do We Preach The Word of God?

Last Sunday, Pastor Hanibal continued in our Liturgies series and focused on the preaching of God’s Word. This week, Hanibal sat down with Pastor Phil Shields and Pastor Erick Solomon to discuss the importance of preaching, our church’s style of preaching, and the sufficiency and inerrancy of God’s Word.

Liturgy, by definition, refers to the set of forms, rituals, prayers, readings, and ceremonies used in public worship, particularly those officially prescribed by a church tradition. Our goal is to understand how and why every part of our worship service is essential. This is not only because it is based on Scripture, but also because it shapes our minds and our heart’s affections, empowering our individual wills to live for God's glory, our good, and the good of others.
