There’s something magical about flying an FPV drone over the rice fields of Ubud—especially on those calm, cloudy mornings after a night of rain. The air feels fresh, the fields glow in soft light, and Bali is quiet before the day begins. No crowds, no noise… just nature, coffee, and the kindness of the locals.
These sunrise FPV flights near Hotel Bambooscape became some of my favorite moments in Bali. Talking to the farmers, learning about their land, and then watching the drone carve through the air above the terraces—it’s a feeling that’s impossible to forget.
Huge thanks to the wonderful locals who welcomed me into their fields and made these flights possible.
