Eucharist procession in Kothamangalam diocese കോതമംഗലം രൂപതയിലെ എല്ലാ ദേവാലയങ്ങളിലേക്കും നടത്തിയ ദിവ്യകാരുണ്യ പ്രയാണം മുവാറ്റുപുഴ ഹോളി മാഗി ഫൊറോനാ പള്ളിയിൽ . The Catholic diocese of Kothamangalam conducted a Eucharist procession to all churches in the diocese. It reached Muvattupuzha holy Family Forane Church on 7th April 2025. The Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, is the central and sacred rite in the Catholic Church. It commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples, during which He instituted this sacrament. At the heart of the Eucharist is the belief in transubstantiation—the bread and wine used during the Mass become the actual Body and Blood of Christ while retaining their physical appearance.
It symbolizes Christ's sacrifice on the cross and embodies His ongoing presence among believers. For Catholics, the Eucharist is not just a memorial but also a means of grace and spiritual nourishment.
