In this video, I have the absolute pleasure of checking out this GORGEOUS 1969 Fender Telecaster Bass courtesy of my friends at Vintage Bass Room.
This was essentially Fender's first re-issue in that it reintroduced the specs of the original 1951 Precision Bass back to the market - a decade after releasing the mid-1957 P bass we know today with the split pickup design, which has endured ever since.
This return to its roots offers a different flavour to the Precision basses we know today, with a chunkier, rounder neck, hotter, brighter output and a slab body.
