Golden Week is Japan’s longest stretch of national holidays, starting from the end of April through the first week of May. This year, Golden Week runs from Friday April 29 2022 until Sunday May 8 2022.
The highly anticipated spring holidays have been lackluster over the last couple of years, with travel restricted and many events cancelled due to the pandemic. Thankfully, this year promises to be a fresh restart as we are seeing a host of events and festivals making a comeback.
