Progressive House Classics DJ Set Vol. 2 (2002-2005)

At the beginning of the ’00 trance music naturally evolved to new sub-genres: tracks are now fed with much more elements and with lower BPM, but same dark atmospheres, melancholic feelings and out-of-this-world trips. This genre is called Progressive House and pioneers of this new sound were without no doubts Sasha and John Digweed, the latter who founded Bedrock Records with Nick Muir in 1999 which releases many milestones in that time. Here in Italy the biggest artist who played this genre before anyone else was Flavio Vecchi at Echoes Club Riccione, he’s been one of my biggest musical inspirer ever. In the same years in UK another young artist was growing as a master in this genre, his name was James Holden, another source of maximum inspiration for me, maybe will follow another djset dedicated to him.
