Here's a remaster of a demo piece made for "Banner: To Seek Refuge," a Hulk fan film I had spent four unsuccessful years trying to make. "Family Reunion" was inspired by the ending I had written, where Maria (the main supporting character) would finally reunite with her brother after evading the crooked deputies.

This was definitely an emotional piece. I wanted to give it a sense of finality, as if she had just crossed the finish line after a disastrous marathon. I included a hint of The Lonely Man Theme in there. Just felt right.

I had cancelled BANNER because there were too many complications going on at once. It became overwhelming for me. I came to the realization that it was becoming less of the film I wanted to make. Then, the decision came and it was a truly difficult one. I pulled the plug for good.

Many of the talent involved asked me why I did it. Truth be told, I had wasted four years purely hoping to make a project that was a little too ambitious for me. It was going to be a feature length film with a detailed CGI Hulk.

I'm still proud of the story I had written (which was later refined by KvP writer Aleczander Jaracz). I'm glad I got to meet some great people that I still try to keep in touch with. Unfortunately, "Banner: To Seek Refuge" was just not meant to be.
