I'm taking you guys with me on my hair journey💕, and today was a rollercoaster of emotions! I started by washing my 4C natural hair after taking down my cornrows. But here's the thing - I've been trying out different hair growth treatments, and shampooing daily was stripping my hair of its moisture, leaving it dry and brittle. So, I decided to ditch the shampoo and use only conditioner instead!
Next up, I had my friend's friend braid my hair at home. I was super excited to get Fulani braids, but things didn't quite go as planned... She ended up making big, basic braids instead of the small, intricate ones I wanted!
I tried to keep calm and smile, but inside, I was fuming! After she left, I broke down in tears, feeling so disappointed and frustrated. BUT, I didn't give up! The next day, I learned a quick fix using a claw clip and a shoe lace, and the transformation was pure MAGIC!🪄
