In this video, I talk about my own journey and how I learned medical German. If you're planning to start a medical career in Germany, mastering the language is key. Learning German, especially medical German, isn't easy. But it's something you have to do if you want to work as a doctor here.

I share four simple techniques that helped me a lot. First, recitation—I spoke out loud to get used to the sounds and words. Next, chunking—I broke down medical terms into smaller groups to remember them better. Then, active recall—I practiced by teaching or testing myself, which made the information stick. Finally, spaced repetition—I revisited what I learned over time to keep it fresh in my mind.
